What is the difference between a pixel batten and a standard LED batten?

While both are linear fixtures, a pixel batten is specifically designed for pixel-mapping video content, featuring individual LED control and protocols like Art-Net or sACN for integration with media servers. A standard LED batten is typically used for static colors or simple effects like color washes, controlled primarily via DMX.

How are CHAUVET Professional pixel battens powered and controlled?

Our pixel battens are designed as part of a complete system. They typically require a dedicated driver, such as a CHAUVET Professional ÉPIX Drive, which provides both power and data processing, converting standard video protocols into a signal the fixtures can use for seamless video playback.

What are the included filters for, and when would I use them?
